Conservation Storytelling is an independent platform that was established to share stories about conservation – mostly around Africa. Our aim is to share the stories of diverse voices from the fields of conservation, so that they can better inspire viewers and listeners to get involved and take action in promoting the preservation of indigenous knowledge, the conservation of our wildlife, our wild places, and our traditions and ancient cultures.

CONSERVATION STORYTELLING PODCAST

Conversations for anyone who is interested in what it takes to protect the wild landscapes of Africa.
Connect with the people behind the scenes of protecting Africa’s wild places.

Africa is dynamic. It is a story that is constantly evolving and inspiring. The people on the ground making an impact have a story to share, and through the podcast we aim to share these stories in a conversational format, with the occasional short story. Our guests vary from project leaders, field rangers, scientists and researchers, to the actual custodians and beneficiaries living on the periphery of wildlife areas.  Topics range from adventures, current affairs, challenges and successes across the sector of conservation in Africa.

The podcast is hosted by Matt Blair, a Conservation Videographer and Livelihoods Restoration Practitioner on behalf of Conservation Storytelling.
